Vucic: More than 30 agreements to be signed during major visit to China

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday evening a Serbian delegation comprised of 11 or 12 government ministers would sign more than 30 agreements and arrangements during a "major" October 15-16 visit to China.

"I believe we will hammer out the final details of a FTA," Vucic said on a Happy TV talk show, noting that the visit would bring "great things and opportunities to our country."

He said he would have a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and that Hungarian PM Viktor Orban would be visiting China as well.

Commenting on reports by some media about alleged plans for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Belt and Road summit, Vucic said he had no confirmation of that and that he had not been in contact with Putin.
