RTS reporter again denied entry to Kosovo-Metohija

BELGRADE - A reporter of Serbia's national public broadcaster RTS was on Tuesday again denied entry to Kosovo-Metohija.

The RTS said Pristina's police had refused to allow Svetlana Vukmirovic to get past a checkpoint at the Merdare administrative crossing.

Vukmirovic said the police officers' demeanour had been unpleasant and that they had provided no explanation as to why she was not allowed to go through.

The rest of the RTS television crew were allowed entry but refused to cross into the province out of solidarity with Vukmirovic, who also had to return from Merdare on Monday.
