TIRANA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who is on a two-day visit to Tirana for a Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit and a regional summit on an EU growth plan and convergences, said on Wednesday discussions on important topics and a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy were ahead of him.
"A hectic day is ahead of us. Tomorrow, we should also discuss the growth programme and a European single market. Today, we will also have a discussion with President Zelenskyy. For us, those are very important topics that are not always easy, so, of course, things are not as simple as they sometimes seem," Vucic told reporters after arriving in Tirana.
Asked about the text of a declaration to be adopted at the summit, Vucic said there were several proposals and that efforts to agree on a final text had been underway all night last night.
"We will see, but the only thing I can say is that I will adhere to the principles adopted by the Serbian National Security Council two years ago," Vucic concluded.
