BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak at the Presidency of Serbia in central Belgrade shortly after 6 pm on Friday.
The meeting is also attended by the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic.
Earlier, European Commission spokesperson Peter Stano confirmed the next meeting of chief negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina would be held in Brussels on Tuesday, March 19, and that Lajcak had invited them to continue discussions about Pristina's decision to ban the Serbian dinar.
Following a visit to Pristina, US special Western Balkans envoy Gabriel Escobar said he had failed to persuade Pristina's PM Albin Kurti to respond to Western concerns over the dinar ban but that he hoped an urgent solution would be found on Tuesday.
The last Brussels meeting in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue was held on February 27.
