BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday the UN Security Council would hold a regular session on Kosovo-Metohija on April 22 and that he would discuss the situation in the province with French President Emmanuel Macron and at least ten other European leaders.

At an extraordinary session of the Serbian government, Vucic said a new report on the work of UNMIK, the UN mission in Kosovo-Metohija, was "very bad" because it did not "reflect the actual state of affairs on the ground."

He announced he might travel to New York on April 21 for the UNSC session as well as a UN General Assembly session on a resolution on Srebrenica.

He said he would stay in New York for six to eight days in case there was any chance of changing the outcome regarding the resolution and added that he would speak with representatives of as many UN member states as possible.

Vucic said the resolution was extremely unfair and that all Serbia could do was to fight, and remarked that no UN act whatsoever stated Germany had committed genocide in WWII.

"There is no such act. No such act has ever been passed in a vote," he added.
