BELGRADE - Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic has confirmed he would start the new season at the Adelaide ATP tournament in January 2023.
The world number five in men's tennis announced this on his official website. Djokovic will be playing at the first World Tennis League exhibition event in Dubai from December 19 through 24.
It will feature 16 tennis players divided into four groups and competing in singles and mixed doubles. Djokovic will be in the Falcons Group alongside Grigor Dimitrov, Paula Badosa and Aryna Sabalenka.
The Serbian will compete at the January 2-8 Adelaide tournament to prepare for the Australian Open, to be held from January 16 through 29.
