BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Friday southern Serbia was on the final shortlist for another major investment in the country - a new research and development centre.
Speaking at an annual conference on economic reforms that also marked the 15th anniversary of the NALED Grey Book - which makes 100 recommendations to the government every year - Brnabic said this was great news she had learned of just before coming to the conference.
"We are on the final shortlist in the fight for a significant, large investment in the field of research and development, for another R&D centre in Serbia, in the south of central Serbia," Brnabic said.
She said the fight for the investment would continue next week and that meetings would be held to discuss it.
Brnabic also said the "knowledge- and innovation-based investment would push Serbia forward even faster than we have been moving to date."
