BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali met with IMF Resident Representative in Serbia Yulia Ustyugova on Thursday to discuss a March 23-April 5 visit to Serbia by an IMF mission.
"Discussions about a standby agreement with the IMF, worth around 2.4 bln euros, are ahead of us during the Mission's visit," Mali wrote in a post on his Instagram profile.
"With IMF representatives, we will also discuss the fiscal position of our country and macroeconomic stability, the fiscal outlook for this year and the structural reforms we are continuing," he added.
Mali noted that Serbia maintained excellent cooperation with the IMF and that he highly appreciated the institution's support for maintaining the achieved results as well as its assistance in Serbia's efforts to weather a globally highly turbulent period as easily as possible.
