PIROT - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic reiterated on Friday Pristina's PM Albin Kurti aimed to ethnically cleanse Serbs from Kosovo-Metohija and that his political agenda was comprised of nothing else.
Speaking to reporters in Pirot, southeastern Serbia, Vucevic said Kurti was gearing for elections and that attacks on Serbs were the only thing on his agenda.
He noted that Kurti was a disciple of Adem Demaci - a former spokesman of the political wing of the terrorist "Kosovo Liberation Army" - and "one of those who are ready to spend their entire life in prison with the sole aim of achieving a Greater Albania."
Vucevic noted that Kosovo-Metohija Serbs were fighting to stay in their ancestral homes.
"All that is happening in front of the eyes of what is referred to as the international community, which issues some statements and criticises Kurti, but I find it simply unbelievable that no one can stop a man who has only one intent: to ethnically cleanse Kosovo-Metohija of Serbs," he said.
He said a major political and diplomatic battle over Kosovo-Metohija was ahead for Serbia.
"We have two options - one is to fight politically and diplomatically, and the other is to get into conflicts. There is no third option," Vucevic said, noting that the second scenario was "what Kurti wants - to drag us into war."
