Vucic, Dendias discuss military cooperation, situation in region

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Greek Defence Minister Nikos Dendias on Tuesday to discuss all topics of joint interest, advancement of military cooperation and cooperation within peacekeeping missions.

The discussions also addressed the political and security situation in the region, Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

"I highlighted the significance of the long-standing friendship and strategic partnership between Serbia and Greece and the continuous cooperation with a view to preserving peace and stability in the region," Vucic noted.

He thanked Dendias for Greece's support for the territorial integrity of Serbia and the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

"I thanked Minister Dendias for the respect for international law, for the preservation of peace and stability in the region and for the advocacy of Serbia's progress on the European integration path," Vucic wrote in the post.
