Vucevic receives farewell visit from US ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic received a farewell visit from outgoing US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill on Monday and wished him success with future professional engagements.

During his term, Ambassador Hill did many significant things for both countries and became well-versed in the specifics and the complexity of the situations and problems Serbia is facing, Vucevic said in a statement released by his office.

In a friendly conversation, the parties also exchanged views on international politics and the situation in the region, the statement said.

Hill thanked Vucevic for the support and understanding during his tenure in Belgrade.

He said Serbia was on the right track and wished Vucevic that he might continue to work with commitment on development of the country and on maintaining peace.

Hill concluded that Serbia and the US had much more in common and many more things that connected them than they had things that distanced them from each other.
