BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met on Wednesday with EU sanctions envoy David O'Sullivan, whose work focuses on engagement in dialogue with third countries and cooperation in joint action aimed at prevention of bypassing of sanctions, the Serbian government said in a statement.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret.

Brnabic said Serbia had not imposed sanctions on the Russian Federation but that it had in no way been and would not be a platform for bypassing EU sanctions.

In terms of the war in Ukraine, Serbia is not neutral when it comes to values and we have taken a clear stand on the violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity, Brnabic added.

Serbia is a credible and dependable partner, she noted.

Brnabic and O'Sullivan exchanged views on concrete steps to be taken with third countries to prevent bypassing of sanctions.

O'Sullivan thanked Brnabic for an open and constructive stance and readiness for further cooperation.
