CHISINAU - After a series of meetings with European leaders at a European Political Community summit in Chisinau, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said it was becoming increasingly clear who was responsible for problems and violence in Kosovo-Metohija.

He said that, besides Ukraine, a resolution of the Kosovo-Metohija issue had been one of the main topics and that a Pristina delegation had not wanted to speak with Belgrade's delegation, but that Belgrade was always ready for dialogue.

"They did not want any meetings with the Serbian delegation, which I think was not met with approval from anyone. We always want discussions and I have no problem with having discussions, but it seems that it is becoming increasingly clear who is responsible for problems and violence in Kosovo-Metohija," Vucic told reporters.

He said he had had many bilateral meetings, including a long discussion with Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki.

"I am hoping for his visit," Vucic said, adding that he had also met with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Albanian PM Edi Rama, North Macedonian PM Dimitar Kovacevski, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the PMs of the Netherlands, Iceland, Finland and Spain and other officials.

He added that he had also met with EU Council President Charles Michel.

"As Open Balkan, Rama, Kovacevski and I requested a change of attitude towards the Western Balkans in terms of more funds," he said.

Vucic said he had also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the first time.

"It was a very brief meeting. We told each other that we support the territorial order of our countries, but I cannot say more than that," Vucic said.
