Brnabic: Serbia interested in advancement of cooperation with Venezuela

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said at a meeting with Venezuelan FM Yvan Gil Pinto in Belgrade on Friday Serbia was interested in advancement of its cooperation with Venezuela in agriculture, tourism, health care and culture, and noted that agreements signed earlier in the day were of great significance to both countries.

She noted that the countries were connected by good and traditionally close ties, and reiterated that Serbia exceptionally appreciated Venezuela's principled position on the Kosovo-Metohija issue, the Serbian government said in a statement.

Brnabic especially thanked Gil Pinto for the Venezuelan government's support to Serbia's bid to host EXPO 2027 in Belgrade.
