BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic received a courtesy visit from DR Congo's newly-appointed ambassador to Belgrade Joseph Kalala Mulamba on Monday.
Dacic noted the long history of relations between the two countries, their traditional friendship and good cooperation in many fields, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Mulamba conveyed to Dacic the regards of his DR Congo counterpart Christophe Lutundula Apala and noted that the two countries held close positions on many issues, including respect of territorial integrity.
The ambassador expressed readiness to contribute to cooperation in a series of different fields through active efforts.
Thanking DR Congo for its principled support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, Dacic pointed out that Serbia had an interest in advancing its cooperation with the country in all fields, above all, in the economy.
