BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with UAE Justice Minister Abdullah Al Nuaimi on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations, advancement of cooperation and experience-sharing in the fields of judiciary and rule of law.
Brnabic said Serbia-UAE relations were at a historical high point and that this had been achieved through political dialogue, economic cooperation and strengthening of a strategic partnership, especially after the signing of a bilateral agreement on comprehensive strategic partnership, the Serbian government said in a statement.
She noted the UAE was an important external trade partner and an export market for Serbia and that she expected the bilateral partnership to also enable the arrival of more investors from the UAE.
Noting examples of the good practice of cooperation in eGovernment, Brnabic said she also expected to see digitalisation and innovation technology projects carried out with the UAE.
Noting that bilateral relations were good and that economic cooperation was developing continuously, Al Nuaimi underscored the significance of bilateral agreements signed by Serbia and the UAE in the field of judiciary and opportunities for cooperation in that area.
At the meeting, also attended by Serbian Justice Minister Maja Popovic, the parties discussed further steps towards achieving substantial progress in experience-sharing and cooperation in the field.
