Vucic: Al Mubarak a personal friend of mine and great friend of Serbia

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Wednesday with UAE Executive Affairs Authority Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, who is also the owner of the English Premier League club Manchester City FC, and noted that Al Mubarak was a personal friend of his as well as a great friend of Serbia.

"We discussed everything today and, at all costs, I avoided the subject of the Red Star vs Manchester City football game. I told Khaldoon that I hope he will come to Belgrade next year, but without Manchester City. It would be good if they were to be drawn to play some other teams!" Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

Vucic received Al Mubarak ahead of Wednesday's UEFA Champions League encounter between Red Star Belgrade and Manchester City.
