SKOPJE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said at the weekend he was not particularly interested in what recommendations the European Parliament would make in a resolution on Serbia.
Vucic was speaking to Serbian reporters in Skopje after Saturday's St Sava Day event in the North Macedonian capital.
The EP is due to vote on a resolution on Serbia on February 8.
"Do you know what the most recent EP recommendation was? That the countries that do not recognise 'Kosovo' as independent should recognise it. Imagine if Spain, Greece, Romania, Cyprus or Slovakia had listened. Fortunately, none of those countries listened. So you can see clearly what the relationship is and how those things go," Vucic said.
He added that the majority in the EP - "the Greens and the Reds" - would always pass recommendations that were against Serbian interests.
