Vucic: China's Xi a great friend of Serbia

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday he was very happy and proud he would host Chinese President Xi Jinping, who he noted was a great leader and a great friend of Serbia, in Belgrade on May 7-8.

Vucic thanked China for always supporting the territorial integrity of Serbia.

He said Serbia would do the same when it comes to Taiwan.

"Taiwan is a part of China and there are no questions about that," he added.

Serbia and China share many interests and cooperate on many projects, Vucic said, expressing the hope there would be more Chinese investments in Serbia.
