Millennium Team to take part in international donors' conference on demining in Ukraine

ZAGREB -The Belgrade-based company Millennium Team will take part in a Zagreb international donors' conference on humanitarian demining in Ukraine on Thursday and Friday.

The objective of the conference is to bring together donors and companies from all around the world that engage in humanitarian demining to ensure, through their expertise in this field, a safer and easier life to civilians in the territory of Ukraine.

The Zagreb conference will also be attended by European Commissioner for the Environment Virginijus Sinkevicius, and Ukrainian PM Denys Shmyhal will speak via a video link.

In a statement, Millenium Team said it would make all its capacities available to make the life of Ukraine's population safer and ensure conditions for a quicker rebuilding of the country.

The two-day international conference in Zagreb will be attended by a team of the company's humanitarian demining sector.

The statement noted that the company had years of experience in performing the most complex operations in this field in Serbia and the region and that it had examined more than 32 mln sq m of terrain, accumulating major references.
