BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic signed a book of condolences for the late football legend Pele at the Brazilian embassy in Belgrade on Friday.
"The loss of Pele will irrecoverably change the world of football. The legacy of the legendary Brazilian football player will be cherished by future generations with great respect for everything the football virtuoso achieved in his professional career," Vucic wrote in his message of condolence.
No doubt, the "king of the beautiful game" will be missed, but his achievements and magnificent goals will remain deeply weaved into all the stories that have been and are yet to be told about the renowned athlete, Vucic noted.
The book of condolence was also signed by Serbian FM Ivica Dacic and Deputy Parliament Speaker Snezana Paunovic.
