BELGRADE - Dragan Pixie Stojkovic will remain head coach of the Serbia men's national football team despite the Eagles' failure to qualify for the knockout stage at EURO 2024.
According to information obtained by Tanjug, a decision to keep Stojkovic in the position - to be confirmed at Friday's closed-door session of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) Executive Board and announced in a press release after the session - is the outcome of discussions held in the past several days.
Stojkovic is under contract with the FSS until 2026.
According to unofficial information, he might get a slight pay cut for the remainder of the deal.
The Executive Board is also due to approve the resignations of FSS Vice President Branislav Nedimovic and Secretary-General Jovan Surbatovic.
FSS President Dragan Dzajic and Stevan Stojanovic, director of the senior team, will remain in their posts.
