BELGRADE - The Serbian government passed on Thursday a bill amending the 2024 budget law, under which overall budget revenues will total 2,173.4 bln dinars, up by 6.5 pct - or by 132.5 bln dinars - compared to this year's initial budget.
Under the supplementary budget bill, the planned tax revenues will amount to 1,864.8 bln dinars (up by 106.2 bln dinars), with non-tax revenues at 275.1 bln dinars (up by 28.4 bln dinars), the government said in a statement.
The 2024 GDP growth rate projected by the Finance Ministry is 3.8 pct, up from the initially planned 3.5 pct.
In absolute terms, the projected GDP amounts to 8,946.2 bln dinars, or 76.3 bln euros.
Among other items, the bill envisions higher expenditures for capital investments and the exercise of rights in protection for families and children, as well as for health care, agriculture, environmental protection, education, culture and the defence sector.
