BELGRADE - The NALED Grey Book is our channel for communicating with businesses - if we do not listen to them, our solutions will not be the right ones, Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Friday at a conference marking the 15th anniversary of the NALED Grey Book.
He noted that his ministry had covered the most ground when it comes to Grey Book recommendations from 2022, fulfilling four in full and three partially.
He noted that e-fiscalisation and e-invoicing campaigns in the country were a success.
"I am glad that, together with businesses, citizens and NALED, we are taking a step forward," he said.
He said a series of reforms carried out to date had produced great results, noting that the reforms would not stop.
"We must not stop, we must continue the reforms," he said, announcing the launch of e-excise and e-delivery note systems.
In two years at the latest, it will be possible to pay taxes via a mobile application, he added.
He noted the significance of a new plan for curbing the grey economy by 2025.
"All we are doing and dealing with shows it is no coincidence Serbia has started winning in the economy, amid the biggest-ever economic crisis," he said.
He announced a continuation of infrastructure investments, salary and pension increases and reforms that would make the economy more competitive and more attractive.
He said FDI inflow to Serbia was growing year by year.
"Things are good, Serbia is stable... But we are not satisfied, we want even better things and even more," Mali said.
