BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke with representatives of the China Railway International Company (CRIC) on Tuesday about the pace of works to build a high-speed rail line from Novi Sad to Subotica, as well as about new plans and future cooperation.
"With friends from CRIC I discussed the pace of works on the Novi Sad-Subotica rail line, as well as new plans and future cooperation that will additionally change the image of our Serbia," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.
"I am happy that, with our partners from China, we share a vision of our country, which is slowly becoming one of the countries that can boast leading-edge infrastructure. We continue to work at an accelerated pace to put Serbia on the map of the best countries as soon as possible, as that is what we live for," Vucic added.
The meeting was also attended by Serbian Construction Minister Goran Vesic, Finance Minister Sinisa Mali and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo.
