BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Tuesday he believed 2025 would be better than the year that is about to end but that he was afraid the terror against Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija would be continued.
Looking back on 2024, Vucevic said the Novi Sad railway station tragedy had left the deepest mark, causing pain and grief in the nation and raising questions of responsibility.
"Other things that happened were more positive for our citizens," Vucevic told Happy TV.
He noted that he was afraid the pressure and terror against Serbs in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija as well as the pressure on Republika Srpska would be continued next year.
"Today, some people take the right to undermine the Dayton Agreement," Vucevic noted.
He said he was confident 2025 would be a better year and that everyone would be hard-working, diligent, committed and that the people would be satisfied.
"A complicated situation in the Middle East, a difficult war in Ukraine in terms of the number of casualties and front line length. The challenge of protecting our people in Kosovo-Metohija and defending ourselves from attempted colour revolutions is ahead of us. We have no right to be laid-back," Vucevic said.
