Loncar: Twelve more patients from N Macedonia on their way to Serbia

BELGRADE - Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar said on Monday 17 patients injured in a deadly disco club fire in Kocane, North Macedonia, had been hospitalised at four clinics in Belgrade and Nis and that 12 more patients were on their way to Serbia.

Speaking to the RTS, Loncar said Serbia would do everything to help the patients but that their injuries were extremely severe.

"We are covering all expenses, we are helping and we will take in everyone. The injuries are extremely severe and the patients will get everything they would get at the world's best clinics," Loncar said.

He thanked everyone who had offered assistance or to donate skin for transplants.

"We have demonstrated that we are normal people, that we want to help and that we are showing solidarity," Loncar said.
