KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A Pristina court has extended the custody for Dusan Obrenovic, a Kosovo-Metohija Serb arrested during the May 29 protests in Zvecan, by another two months, his lawyer confirmed to Tanjug on Thursday.
"I will lodge an appeal with the Appeals Court and I hope they will make a more correct assessment of the requirements for him to be free during trial," Predrag Miljkovic said.
Rados Petrovic, a Serb who was arrested alongside Obrenovic, was released on bail on June 23.
Footage made during the Zvecan protests proves that the two men were arrested prior to the outbreak of clashes between protesters and Kfor troops - and not after, as Pristina's police and prosecutors claim - and that they took no part in them.
