Foreign affairs committee members meet with Germany's Roth

BELGRADE - Members of the Serbian parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs met on Thursday in Belgrade with the head of the German Bundestag's foreign affairs committee, Michael Roth, at his initiative.

A statement released by the Serbian parliament said the "extremely open and difficult" meeting had addressed major issues of importance for bilateral relations between Serbia and Germany as well as future cooperation between their parliaments.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Serbian parliamentary committee, Marina Ragus, deputy head Stefan Krkobabic and committee members Natasa Jovanovic and Borko Stefanovic.

Earlier in the day, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he had had a "very open and difficult discussion" with Roth.
