Nine killed in downtown Belgrade school shooting

BELGRADE - Eight children and one security guard were killed in a shooting spree in a primary school in downtown Belgrade on Wednesday morning, a source at the Serbian Ministry of Interior told Tanjug.

Six other children and one teacher have been hospitalised after being wounded in the attack.

The perpatrator, identified with the initials K K, is a 14-year-old pupil of the school and was arrested in the school yard after the crime.
