BERN - Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade bowed out of the UEFA Champions League with a 1-0 win over Swiss side Young Boys in a Match Day 8 game in Bern on Wednesday evening.
A trademark Guelor Kanga long-range goal from over 20 yards out in the 69th minute won the match for Red Star.
The Gabonese midfielder scored four minutes after coming on for Andrija Maksimovic.
The victory is the first-ever away win in European football's top tier competition for both the club and Serbian football.
