Red Star Belgrade beat Radnicki to advance to Serbian football cup quarters

SREMSKA MITROVICA - Red Star Belgrade are through to the quarter-finals of the Serbian football cup after defeating Radnicki Sremska Mitrovica 3-1 away from home on Wednesday.

Radnicki took the lead through a Krsta Djordjevic penalty in the 38th minute, but Mirko Ivanic scored in the 43rd minute to make it 1-1.

Marko Rakonjac and Kings Kangwa netted in the 56th and the 64th minute, respectively, to win the game for Red Star.

The remaining round of 16 ties are Metalac vs Cukaricki and Spartak vs Napredak.

TSC, Radnik, Radnicki Nis, Novi Pazar and Vojvodina have also secured quarter-final berths.
