MELBOURNE - Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanovic is out of the Australian Open after a 6-4, 6-4, 6-0 defeat to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in Melbourne on Monday.
World number two Alcaraz, who won after an hour and 50 minutes of play, is now 2-0 head-to-head against Kecmanovic, placed 60th in the ATP rankings.
In the quarter-finals, Alcaraz will face German Alexander Zverev, who defeated Briton Cameron Norrie 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (10-3) in the fourth round.
