BELGRADE - Serbian industrial production in June 2023 was up by 0.5 pct y-o-y and by 2.9 pct relative to the 2022 average, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.
Between January and June 2023, industrial production grew by 1.7 y-o-y.
In June, electricity and natural gas supplies were up by 12.7 pct, the output of the manufacturing sector remained steady and the mining sector saw a 13.4 pct decline.
Electricity production and production of base metals, computers, electronic and optical products as well as basic pharmaceutical products and preparations and motor vehicles and trailers had the highest impact on the y-o-y growth of industrial production in June 2023.
