MOSTAR - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic attended the opening of the 24th Mostar International Economic Fair on Tuesday.
Inviting Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the Open Balkan initiative, Brnabic said she hoped development of relations within the region would be continued.
"Only 48 hours ago, I was in Zagreb, and hopefully in the coming weeks, too, we will continue on this path of developing relations and a prosperous Balkans for all our businesspeople," she said.
She noted that Serbia-BiH bilateral trade had doubled in the past decade.
"The BiH market is important to us. BiH is our second-largest export partner and Germany is the largest, while Serbia is Bosnia and Herzegovina's third-largest export partner. These parameters alone show how important we are to each other. I invite Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the Open Balkan initiative, an initiative to open borders," Brnabic said.
She noted that Serbia was at the fair for a sixth consecutive year.
It is represented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, whose booth features 14 exhibitors.
