BELGRADE - Ahead of Monday's meeting of Brdo-Brijuni Process leaders in Skopje, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Serbia, as always, remained consistent in its sincere advocacy of creating an atmosphere of mutual trust, understanding and respect.
In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile, Vucic thanked the presidents of Slovenia and Croatia, Natasa Pirs Musar and Zoran Milanovic, and North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski for their cordial welcome and for hosting the important meeting.
He added that his meeting with collocutors from the region would address some of the key principles of regional cooperation, sustainable development, climate change as well as the EU enlargement policy as a strategic point for further relations on the European continent.
He said one of the more significant topics would be continued political, economic and social reforms that would keep young people in the region to ensure additional prosperity, stability and progress across Europe.
"Serbia, as always, remains consistent in its sincere advocacy of creating an atmosphere of mutual trust, understanding and respect, as it has also demonstrated through numerous initiatives opening up great possibilities for firm cooperation of countries in the region, to the benefit of all people living in the Western Balkans," Vucic concluded.
