Vucic congratulates Prabowo Subianto on winning Indonesian presidential polls

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke with Indonesian Defence Minister and presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto on Thursday and congratulated him on what preliminary results show is an electoral victory and invited him to visit Serbia.

"An excellent discussion with Prabowo Subianto, whom I congratulated on winning the presidential elections according to the first preliminary results. We discussed strengthening the partnership between our two countries as well as various forms of cooperation in many areas of common interest," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account after a phone conversation with Subianto.

Vucic added that Subianto had accepted his invitation to visit Serbia to enable Serbia and Indonesia to achieve even greater success in bilateral and economic relations.
