BELGRADE - Red Star beat arch-rivals Partizan 76-73 (11-20, 29-13, 14-19, 22-21) in the Belgrade teams' first-ever Eternal Derby in the basketball EuroLeague on Thursday evening.
Nemanja Nedovic was the hero for Red Star after making a winning three-point shot with two seconds to go.
Nedovic also led the scoring for Red Star with 20 points and was followed by Luca Vildoza with 14 and Filip Petrusev with 10 points.
Kevin Punter scored 15 points for Partizan and Yam Madar and Ioannis Papapetrou added 14 and 13 points, respectively.
The win is the eighth consecutive victory for Red Star across all competitions since the arrival of new head coach Dusko Ivanovic.
Red Star are now 6-6 in the EuroLeague and Partizan are 4-8.
