DUBAI- Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Monday Serbia had signed a 2.4 bln euro stand-by arrangement with the IMF that would in part be used for the energy sector and, in part, for stability.
Speaking to reporters in Dubai, Brnabic said cooperation with the IMF continued also with regards to public enterprise reforms and in the public sector, which she said would constitute a part of Serbia's growth.
"IMF Director Kristalina Georgieva has announced this year would be more difficult than 2022, but said that Serbia has demonstrated resilience and succeeded in maintaining stability. She said 'your economy has survived and continued to fight.' That is why this arrangement is important to us," Brnabic said.
