BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Friday that, according to preliminary figures released by the national statistical office, Serbia's 2.5 pct economic growth in 2023 was in line with expectations and estimates and represented yet another confirmation of good economic results.
"At the same time, this means that, in Q4, our economic growth accelerated to 3.9 pct of GDP. The growth is diversified and achieved in all economic sectors - the construction sector, agriculture, industry and the services sector," Mali wrote in an Instagram post.
He added that, in absolute terms, Serbia's GDP would total around 69.1 bln euros in 2023, compared to 33.7 bln euros in 2012.
Mali noted that the 2024 GDP was expected to total around 74.5 bln euros in absolute terms.
