CHISINAU - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Thursday in Chisinau with EU foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell, noting that a return to dialogue by Pristina institutions and putting an end to their violence were a priority.
"For Serbia, the safety of the Serb community in Kosovo-Metohija has always been a priority along with maintaining peace and stability. I noted that establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities is the fundamental obligation from the Brussels Agreement," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.
He added that he had had an open discussion with Borrell about the complex situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the fallout from irresponsible actions by the Pristina institutions.
"I reiterated that, since the very beginning, we have been approaching a resolution of all open issues in the dialogue with Pristina in a responsible, conscientious and serious manner, and I noted that we have been responding patiently and calmly to all unilateral moves and provocations," Vucic also said.
