SJENICA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday Council of Europe (CoE) rapporteur Dora Bakoyannis, who recently recommended that the so-called Kosovo be admitted to the organisation, had not even fulfilled the fundamental obligation to speak with Belgrade before a Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) session, and noted that what she had done was a "disgrace."
Asked by reporters if Bakoyannis's country, Greece, was a friend or a partner country to Serbia following the actions of its representatives at the PACE session, Vucic said any statements on that would depend on future votes.
"Am I delighted with Bakoyannis's behaviour?" I am not. I think that what she did is a disgrace," Vucic said.
He said a February 21 meeting had been agreed with Bakoyannis and then "given up on."
He added he had then been due to speak with Bakoyannis via video conferencing but that the discussion had been cancelled due to her health condition.
"I am sorry about it all, but even the fundamental obligation to speak with Belgrade was not fulfilled," Vucic said.
