BRUSSELS - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak has announced he would convene the chief negotiators of the two parties in Brussels on Tuesday "to work out concrete steps" to unblock the implementation of an agreement on the path to normalisation of relations.

In a Facebook post on Monday evening, Lajcak wrote that he and EU foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell had hosted Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Pristina's PM Albin Kurti in Brussels last week "for another meeting of the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue."

"Unfortunately, we did not see any progress in implementing the Agreement on the Path to Normalisation. The discussions were as challenging as ever. Nevertheless, our work continues tomorrow when I will convene the Chief Negotiators to work out concrete steps to unblock the implementation of the Agreement," he added.
