BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January-June totalled approx. 33.49 bln euros, which is a 0.7 pct increase y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.
Goods exports were worth around 14.6 bln euros, rising by 0.1 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled around 18.88 bln euros, growing by 1.3 pct y-o-y.
The deficit was at around 4.281 bln euros, up by 5.6 pct y-o-y.
The export-import ratio was 77.3 pct, down from 78.2 pct in the same period of last year.
External goods trade was the highest with countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements and EU member states accounted for 59.9 pct of the total.
Serbia's main export partners were Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, China and Hungary and its main import partners were Germany, China, Italy, Turkey and Hungary.
In June, goods exports totalled 2.413 bln euros, which is a 3.6 pct decline y-o-y, and imports stood at 3.172 bln euros, which is a 1.4 pct increase y-o-y.
