Serbia, IMF agree on new arrangement

Serbia and an International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission have agreed a new, 30-month arrangement - a Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI) programme that will have an advisory role and does not include financial assistance.

BELGRADE - Serbia and an International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission have agreed a new, 30-month arrangement - a Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI) programme that will have an advisory role and does not include financial assistance.


Based on the mission's preliminary findings, the IMF team will prepare a report to be tabled to the organisation's Executive Board and considered at a session tentatively scheduled for mid-July.


Mali: Serbia meets all requirements for arrangement with IMF

BELGRADE - Serbia has met all the requirements for signing a new arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as early as July, Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said Wednesday.

The arrangement - the Policy Coordination Instrument programme - would run until January 2021.
