BELGRADE - A leading-edge industrial park in the Belgrade suburb of Borca, whose construction is slated to begin early next year, is expected to bring major economic growth and development to Serbia, says Cou Cesi, vice president of the Serbian division of the China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC).

The approx. 330 ha Serbian-Chinese park will be situated near the Pupin Bridge, also built by the Chinese company.

The project will help the development of Serbia and the whole southeast European region, Cou said Tuesday at the 4th China-CEE conference on cooperation in innovation.

"The two sides have signed an agreement on project development and we have set up project companies. This is a major investment," he said.
