Vucevic: Gov't has ordered ministries to take measures regarding Kosovo-Metohija

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said at the weekend his government had adopted a conclusion ordering all ministries to undertake measures and activities aimed at providing legal and social and economic protection and activities to Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija and at protecting the Serb population in the province and Serbian national interests.

Vucevic was speaking to Tanjug after a special government session on Saturday.

The government also adopted a conclusion ordering the Defence Ministry to launch a procedure for reinstating compulsory military service, with the relevant amendments due to be adopted by the end of this week.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Friday outlined Serbia's demands and moves regarding the situation in Kosovo-Metohija.

In a public address from the Palace of Serbia, Vucic said a global diplomatic campaign would be launched in which he would speak with more than 60 world leaders by end-November to present seven points necessary for progress in the dialogue with Pristina.
